Richard Marx
That human touch is the hallmark of Richard Marx's music. His debut single "Don't Mean Nothing" and self-titled debut album kicked off his career as a solo artist in 1987. He remained a fixture on pop and adult contemporary radio for years with hits like “Right Here Waiting for You”, “Hold Onto the Nights”, “Should’ve Known Better,” and others. He also emerged as a top producer working with some of the biggest names in the music business. In February 2004, Richard won the Song of the Year Grammy for "Dance With My Father," which he wrote with Luther Vandross.

KANSAS
Listen to any classic rock radio station for any period of time, and chances are one will definitely hear at least one song from the band KANSAS. KANSAS has penned and performed some of rock's most recognizable songs such as the anthem "Carry On Wayward Son" and the ballad "Dust in the Wind." One of the leading rock bands of the '70s and 80's, KANSAS scored eight gold albums, three multi-platinum albums, one of which was 'Point of Know Return,' and a platinum live album. "Dust in the Wind" has sold a million copies as a single. KANSAS will be bringing their melodic yet progressive sound to the Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheatre in Layton for one night only!
